New Year's Day Parade

Today, a bit of American glitz at the New Year's dayLondon Parade. there was a lot more on the parade, but I like the idea of these kids travelling around the world to show us how it's done.

Nice shoot!

By the way, I watched the excellent fireworks, celebrating new year, in the sky of London on TV. A happy new year in 2007 from Tokyo:-))

I was so lucky to get to travel with the chorus as a kid...even sang for the mayor of Dublin once. I think it was those trips that gave me the bug to live somewhere else in the world. (Be sure to let them know that you posted their photo here...they'll love it!).

Were these the kids who were originally forbiden to come to the UK by their school board as the UK was considered too dangerous? Glad they made it... hope the weather didn't put them off coming again!

Or was it nice yesterday, can't remember when the good and bad weather were!

Beats sitting at home with the toffees at the bottom of the Quality Street and fighting over the last cracker, doesn't it?
