Change your life

Shot with Olympus E500
November the 9th, it was eighteen years since the wall came down. Have you changed your life?

This fragment of the wall is now in the War Museum. Personally, I think they should change the name to the "Warfare Museum" that would sound less provocative than the current name. Whatever your views on war and warfare, you should take the time to visit. Right now they have an interesting exhibition on war propaganda posters, as seen from all sides. Onionbagblog was there

I enjoyed your photo today in this post. I also have studied wartime propaganda of Germany, Japan, Italy and America. America was really nasty with propaganda and I was old enough during the war to see it first hand in the tiny movie houses, and in the newspapers and magazines of that time.

War is nearly identical to religion. One's belief system is the same.

It all comes down to your place of birth.

Jews are not born into Catholic families but into Jewish families.

On the other hand you can be born a Catholic and many Germann Catholics became Nazis, and the rest is in your history books.

Our Catholics fought the German Catholics and the Italian Catholics.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

To answer your question about changing our life. No, people can't change their lives beyond what their government preaches. If one government says, go to war, the people go to war. It is pretty much that simple.
