Smile for the Camera

I've noted before how some visitors from Asian countries, apparently on their honeymoon, seem to recreate their wedding photos in and around Westminster. Not sure why, but it looks fun for all concerned. The gent appears to be in uniform, possibly air force (I can see wings in the original), from the way they are sitting apart, I'd guess Malaysia, but I may be way off the mark. I didn't notice when I was taking the shot how much she seems to be enjoying the moment.

They're recreating the Royal Wedding look. Her dress is a very similar copy to Kate's, and his uniform is almost exactly William's.

The Chinese do their wedding photos before the wedding, so there is no chance of any problem on the day. We see them around Hong Kong all the time.

They'll even go to their honeymoon locations (in multiple countries) before they are married to get the classic honeymoon photos done in advance. They'll then go back and do the proper honeymoon once they are married.

The photos will be on display at the wedding (life-size pop-ups, anyone?).

See an About.com article for some more.

Yeah, definitely a Wills and Kate recreation. Love the bride's reaction.
